Über das Süsswasservorkommen in Sharm El Sheikh

Sharm El Sheikh ist ein Ort in der Wüste. Auf einer Fläche von 18 km2 befinden sich 318 Pools in direkter Nähe zum Roten Meer. Grob gerechnet sind das ca. 60 000 000 Liter Süsswasser mit Chlor.

Zeichnungen mit Umrissen und den jeweiligen Koordinaten der einzelnen Pools zeigen die Masse und Vielfalt der Pools auf. Dabei ist der Maßstab und die Ausrichtung nach Norden immer gleichbleibend.

Regarding the freshwater availability Sharm El Sheikh

Sharm El Sheikh is a place in the desert. Covering an area of 18 km2, there are 318 pools in the immediate vicinity of the Red Sea. Roughly 60,000,000 litres of fresh water with chlorine. Drawings with outlines and the respective coordinates of the individual pools show the mass and variety of the pools. The scale and the orientation to the north stays always the same.
